Paddle board, kayak, or tandem kayak a classic stretch of the Deschutes River — rentals available directly from our Riverbend Park kiosk.

Our Riverbend Park location offers convenient one or two hour equipment rentals so you can explore the beautiful and historic section of the Deschutes River, located near the Old Mill District, Hayden Homes Amphitheater, and some of the best local restaurants and boutiques in Bend.

Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or trying it for the first time, this calm and scenic stretch of river is ideal for all experience levels.

Safety Notice

  • Watersports and water activities are inherently risky.
  • Conditions can change rapidly and without warning.
  • There are no lifeguards on duty. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of everyone in your group.
  • All participants are required to wear a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket (PFD).
  • Know your abilities and limits. Do not attempt activities beyond your comfort level.
  • By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with watersports and water activities and accept responsibility for your own safety.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Dogs are welcome on our kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. There is a $15 dog fee.

Do I need a reservation?

We accept walk-ups most days. However, weekends and holidays can get busy, so we recommend making a reservation to guarantee availability.

Do I need to transport the equipment?

No transport is needed. We have a launch right at our location. You’ll paddle up and down the river and return to the same spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made on the same day as your reservation are not eligible for a refund.

Do I need experience?

No experience is necessary. The section of water you'll be paddling is calm and beginner friendly.

Do you rent dry bags?

We don’t rent dry bags, but we do have a variety of sizes available for purchase.
