+ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s the minimum age for kids to go tubing?
There’s no official minimum age. If a child is small enough to comfortably sit in an adult’s lap, they can ride together in the same tube. We have personal flotation devices available down to infant size.
Can I book a large group?
Yes! For groups of 30 people or fewer, you can book directly through our website. If you're planning for more than 30 people, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can help coordinate your group’s experience.
Is there a maximum weight limit for the tubes?
Our tubes have a rated capacity of 250 pounds. While we won’t stop anyone from going over that limit, it’s important to know that the tube will be less stable.
Where can we store our personal items while we’re on the water?
We rent lockers for $4 if you’d like to store your belongings. You can also lock everything in your car, and we’ll hold onto your car keys at no charge.
Can we go tubing before or after the Park & Float location is open for the season?
Yes, weather permitting, we do offer tube rentals from our other locations before Park & Float opens and after it closes for the season. However, shuttle service is not available during this time, so you’ll be responsible for your own transportation and returning the tubes to the location you rented from.
Can we make reservations for same day rentals?
Same day rentals are walk-up only. Most days, we have plenty of availability, but if you're planning to come on a weekend or holiday, we recommend arriving in the morning to secure your spot.
What happens if there’s lightning or smoke?
If there’s lightning, we’ll put rentals on hold for 30 minutes. If no lightning is detected after that time and the forecast looks favorable, we’ll resume sending out tubes. We do not send rentals out if the Air Quality Index (AQI) is above 300 due to smoke. If lightning or smoke prevents your float, we’ll issue a full refund.
Can we bring food or drinks?
Yes, you can bring your own snacks and drinks! Just make sure to keep everything secure and pack out any trash to help keep our rivers clean. Please note that alcohol is not allowed and this rule is actively enforced.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes that can get wet and shoes that will stay securely on your feet, flip-flops and loose sandals can easily come off in the water. Water shoes or strapped sandals are a great option.
Can I bring my dog?
Please leave your 4 legged friends at home, we don’t allow dogs on our tubes.
