Imagine exploring a narrow river trail that opens up into a secret slough that is still unknown to many locals. Or learning the history of ancient lava flows that were formed thousands of years ago. Or maybe you just want to kick back and watch how the leaves of the Aspens on the shoreline seem to glitter like coins in the gentle breeze.
Tumalo Creek offers both full or half-day tours. On Wednesdays, we offer our full-day exploration of the Upper Deschutes for $95 per person including lunch and transportation. On Fridays you can sign up for a half-day adventure ($65) on a section of the Deschutes that is closer to town (known as Slough Camp) or we can head up to Elk Lake for some superb alpine lake paddling. All trips include gear and expert guides, and paddlers may choose between taking out a canoe, kayak or stand up paddleboard.
We are always happy to book custom tours if you have a group of five or more paddlers.
